Core Gameplay: Avalanches, Tier Highlights and an Expanding Grid

In and Out runs on a 6x5 Avalanche grid where every win causes winning symbols to disappear and be replaced by a new drop of symbols, continuing until no further wins are present. When symbols disappear as part of a scattered win, the positions they occupied become highlighted in Bronze. Each time a winning combination subsequently includes a highlighted position, that position's tier advances — Bronze to Silver, Silver to Gold, Gold to Diamond. Diamond is the maximum tier.

Bomb symbols expand the grid when they land on the edge or corner of the play area — edge Bombs add an extra reel or row in their direction, while corner Bombs add both. The grid can expand once in each direction for a maximum of 8 reels and 7 rows within a single game round. All other adjacent symbols except Bonus, Super Bonus, Wild, and Chloé are removed by the explosion, creating space for a new Avalanche.

Wild symbols can appear anywhere on the reels and substitute for all symbols except Bonus, Bomb, and Heist Mode symbols. They can contribute to more than one scattered win simultaneously.

Free Spins: Bonus and Super Bonus Triggers

Three Bonus symbols of any kind landing after all Avalanches trigger Free Spins, starting with 5 spins. Each Super Bonus symbol within the triggering combination awards one additional spin. The grid size and all highlighted tile positions carry over from the triggering spin and persist until they are used in Heist Mode. Bombs, Heist Mode, and its special features can all still fire during Free Spins, allowing further grid expansion and elevated win potential.

Heist Mode: Chloé Takes Over

Heist Mode activates when a highlighted area and the Chloé symbol are both present on the reels after all Avalanches complete. The mode begins with 3 spins and each Extra Life symbol that lands adds one more.
