It's right there in the title, so let's say it up front: we're not big Hold & Win fans, and Spider Circus Hold and Win from BGaming doesn't hide what it is. Its own blurb calls it "a proven formula". The art is the more memorable part: a Burton-style big top, fruit with faces, scarred pumpkins and a spiral-eyed clown watching from behind the grid. Inside the bonus, though, there are two ideas worth noting. Multiplier positions are seeded before the first respin, and a progress bar turns milestone landings into Progressive Mystery symbols. It's a medium volatility slot with a 97% RTP and a x5,000 max win, and it's going for the broad, year-round audience rather than the high-volatility crowd.

Core Gameplay

The base game keeps it simple. You choose how many paylines are active, 20, 40, 60, 80 or 100, and more lines means a higher minimum bet. Expanding Wilds on reels 2–4 grow to cover the whole reel when they're part of a win. Scatters pay anywhere from three up. The Spider symbols are what you're really watching for, though: land 6 or more and the Hold & Win Bonus starts. BGaming lists a hit rate of 1 in 6.76 spins.

Bonus Features

The Hold & Win Bonus works the usual way. You get 3 respins, the triggering Spiders lock in place with their values, only Spiders and Progressive Mystery symbols can land, and every new Spider resets the count to 3. It ends when the grid is full or the respins run out, and you win the total of all Spider values.

The differences are worth a mention. At the start of the round, three random positions get a x2, x3, x4 or x5 multiplier, so any Spider that lands there is boosted. Then there's the Progress Bar. When it hits 10, 15 or 20 Spiders, the last one to land becomes a Progressive Mystery symbol. It can stay as it is, get a higher value, turn into a Prize (Mini x10, Minor x25, Major x100, Grand x500), become a Collect symbol, or become a x2 or x3 multiplier applied to every Spider on the reels. If it lands on a multiplier position, that multiplier is applied to its value at the end of the round as well. It isn't a reinvention of the format, but the milestones give the round more structure than "fill the grid and hope".

Feature Access & Buy Options

Buy Bonus takes you straight into the Hold & Win Bonus, priced relative to your bet. Chance x2 raises your bet slightly in exchange for double the chance of hitting Scatters and triggering the bonus. You can't use the two at the same time.
