Jinx Gaming launches a shared universe with Rune Beasts! Sharp Peaks, the first of two simultaneous entries in the Rune Beasts series — its companion title Rune Beasts! Deep Trenches releases on the same day and shares the same Beast duel system, just at a very different volatility level. Sharp Peaks is the high-stakes entry: a 7x7 cluster pays slot with 21 distinct Beasts across multiple elements and health point values, a VS symbol that triggers a duel between two of them, and the winning Beast forming a 3x3 cluster of its elemental rune symbol with its own multiplier applied to the win. At a 12,500x max win and high volatility of 4 out of 5, Sharp Peaks is built for players who want the full elemental war experience with a ceiling to match.

Core Gameplay

Rune Beasts! Sharp Peaks runs on a 7x7 cluster pays grid set in the world of Asterra. Twenty-one Beast symbols of different elemental types each carry two key attributes: health points and a multiplier value. When a VS symbol lands it triggers a duel between two Beasts — the duel outcome is determined by the Beasts' health points, with the stronger Beast winning. The victorious Beast then forms a 3x3 cluster of its corresponding elemental rune paying symbol across nine grid positions simultaneously, and applies its multiplier value to the win generated by that cluster. The Beast duel therefore does two things at once: it creates a guaranteed large cluster win and it amplifies that win through the winning Beast's multiplier. Higher health point Beasts winning duels with higher multiplier values represent the mechanic's ceiling scenarios. How the two duelling Beasts are selected — randomly from the grid's active Beasts or from a fixed roster per spin — will be confirmed at launch.
