Core Gameplay

Le Gift Grabber runs on a 6x5 drop and cluster grid where winning clusters clear and new symbols cascade downward. The central mechanic builds on the Golden Squares system introduced in Le Vampire and expanded here into a fuller collector economy. Golden Squares appear on the grid and reveal Special symbols when activated — Coins, Collectors, and presumably other prize types that form the collection layer's prize pool. Epic Rainbow symbols represent the mechanic's escalation point: when one lands it converts the entire 6x5 grid into Golden Squares simultaneously, creating a full-board reveal event rather than the partial coverage that standard Golden Square activation produces.

The collector system sits on top of this reveal layer with two distinct tiers. Local Collectors operate in a 3x3 area around their position, collecting the Coin values of every coin within that zone without requiring the entire grid to be populated. Global Collectors sweep all Coin values across the full grid in a single collection event — the premium outcome that converts maximum grid coverage into a single compounded payout. The interaction between an Epic Rainbow full-board conversion and a Global Collector landing in the same resolution represents the mechanic's ceiling scenario, turning every position's revealed value into a single collected total.
