Hacksaw Gaming sends Marlin Masters into the frozen tundra for a winter sequel, swapping the open ocean of the original for an ice fishing mechanic that adds a second tier of premium Ice Marlins sitting above the grid — accessible only to specialist Ice-breaker Collectors that carry their own multipliers. The standard Marlin and Collector loop from the original carries over into the base game, while the Ice Marlin layer above the grid creates a distinct high-value secondary economy that requires the right collector type to unlock. At a 5,000x max win and medium volatility of 3 out of 5, Frozen Frenzy builds on a familiar foundation while giving ice fishers something new to chase through the frozen surface.

Core Gameplay

Marlin Masters: Frozen Frenzy runs on a 5x3 paylines grid with a two-tier Marlin collection system. On the main grid, Marlin symbols function as loot symbols carrying individual cash values, while Collector symbols sweep the grid and award the combined total of all Marlins currently visible — with optional multipliers attached to certain Collector landings that boost the collected total before it pays out. This standard Marlin-and-Collector loop carries over from the original Marlin Masters OG, providing the familiar base game collection mechanic.

The new addition is the Ice Marlin layer sitting above the main grid — a separate zone holding Marlin symbols with higher cash values than those accessible on the standard reels. These premium Marlins are completely off-limits to standard Collectors. Only Ice-breaker Collector symbols can reach above the grid to collect Ice Marlin values, and Ice-breaker Collectors also carry their own multipliers that apply to the combined Ice Marlin total on collection. The two-tier structure means standard Collector landings and Ice-breaker Collector landings are fundamentally different events — one resolves the standard grid economy, the other unlocks the premium layer above it.

Bonus Features

Two freshly frozen bonus games are confirmed alongside the Hidden Epic Bonus™. Whether Ice Marlin values are elevated inside the bonus, whether Ice-breaker Collectors appear more frequently during the feature, and how the two frozen bonus games differ structurally will be confirmed at launch.

Feature Access & Buy Options

Bonus buy availability has not been confirmed at this stage. Given Hacksaw Gaming's standard release format, direct bonus access and an ante-bet option are likely inclusions, but nothing has been officially announced for Marlin Masters: Frozen Frenzy.
