Panda Goes Boom runs on a 3x3 five-payline grid where the small format concentrates every mechanic into an intense, high-stakes space. Wilds substitute for all paying symbols and resolve toward the highest possible winning combination on any given line. A Boom Win modifier applies a flat 10x multiplier whenever all five win lines are filled with winning symbols simultaneously — a full-board condition that on a 3x3 grid is achievable but demanding, functioning as the base game's premium moment outside of the respin features.

The Fortune Respin fires randomly on any spin, selecting a paying symbol at random — after which only that symbol, Wilds, or blank spaces can land for the duration of the sequence. Every instance of the chosen symbol or a Wild that lands locks in place and triggers a respin, with the chain continuing until either a spin produces no new locks or the entire screen fills with locked symbols. Wins are paid only after the final respin resolves, not incrementally — meaning the full value of the locking sequence is held until the feature completes. The Multiplier Respin triggers separately when one or more x5 Respin symbols land anywhere on the reels, adding their combined multiplier values together and applying the total to any wins in the respin. Each additional x5 symbol landing during a Multiplier Respin increases the accumulated multiplier by a further 5, and the middle reel converts to a full Wild reel for the duration — with Wilds locked off reels one and three to concentrate Wild activity centrally. If the full board fills with winning symbols during a Multiplier Respin, the 10x Boom Win multiplier stacks on top of the accumulated x5 multiplier total.

The two respin systems can converge in a single mechanic: when the Fortune Respin randomly selects the x5 Respin symbol as its target, the locking sequence collects only x5 symbols and blanks — no standard wins form during this phase — but once the Fortune Respin concludes, all collected x5 symbols immediately trigger a Multiplier Respin with their combined values loaded in. This chained sequence converts a non-paying Fortune Respin into a direct multiplier-loaded respin launch, representing the slot's highest potential single-sequence outcome.
