Theme and Visual Presentation: Frozen Fairytale — 7.40/10

The bonus runs the same mechanics as the base game with one addition: all Beastbound Wilds now arrive carrying multipliers, from x1 all the way up to x100. Those multipliers are collected into a meter and applied to every win, and fresh multipliers keep getting added as the cascades roll on.

Here's the problem, and it's the whole review: the meter resets at the start of every new free spin.

When we saw a cascade engine, a multiplier meter and a free spins round, we expected the multiplier to build across the bonus. It doesn't — it resets every spin. And once you understand that, the whole round deflates: you're no longer building toward something across 15 or 20 spins, you're just hoping one of them catches fire on its own. It turns what should be a slow, tense climb into a series of disconnected coin flips, and that's a genuinely disappointing feeling in a game that otherwise looks and plays this well.
