Neon grids, floppy disks, a cat-eared gamer girl in a VR visor: Arcade Raider from Bullshark Games goes all in on the 80s arcade look. The mechanic behind it is a simple one with a lot of reach. Frames land on the grid, and whatever symbol sits inside one doesn't just change in that spot. Every symbol of the same type on the screen changes with it. Blue Frames turn them into Wilds, Red Frames give them multipliers. The concept line promises more on top ("beat the opponent" for Wilds, multipliers and colossal symbols), but that's all the detail we have so far. With 4/5 volatility and a 12,000x max win on a 5x5 grid, the numbers sit on the punchy side.

Core Gameplay
Arcade Raider plays on a 5x5 paylines grid, and the whole thing runs on two kinds of frames. When a Blue Frame lands, the symbol in that position and every symbol of the same type on the grid turn into Wilds, and this happens before any wins are counted. One Blue Frame on a common low-pay could flip a good chunk of the grid wild in one go.
Red Frames use the same "find all matching symbols" logic, but add multipliers instead. The framed symbol and every symbol of its type get their own multiplier value, and those multipliers apply to every win the symbols are part of. On a payline grid, that's where it gets interesting: one multiplied symbol can sit on several lines at once.
The promo text doesn't say how often frames land, whether Blue and Red can show up on the same spin, or what range the Red Frame multipliers cover. Those are the things that will decide how hard this mechanic actually hits.
Bonus Features
The concept promises an opponent to beat, with Wilds, multipliers and colossal symbols as the reward. Beyond that the bonus is TBD: no trigger, spin count or structure has been shared yet.
Next Steps for This Review
At launch we'll cover the RTP, the number of paylines, how often frames land and the range of Red Frame multipliers, and whether Blue and Red Frames can combine on the same symbol type. We'll also look at how the "beat the opponent" bonus works, how big the colossal symbols get, and what bonus buy options there are, if any.
Full gameplay analysis and a final score will follow the launch.
