Core Gameplay

Ants Attack runs on a 5x4 paylines grid with Expanding Wild symbols that don't simply fill their reel on landing. Instead each Expanding Wild expands in one of three directional configurations — upward only, downward only, or in both directions simultaneously — converting every symbol in those positions into additional Wild symbols before win evaluation. The directional outcome appears to be randomly determined on each landing, meaning the same reel position can produce very different Wild coverage depending on which direction the expansion takes. A downward expansion from a high position covers more rows than one from the bottom, adding a spatial dimension to the Wild's value.

Reel Multipliers sit on reels 2, 3, 4, and 5 — reel 1 has no multiplier — each starting at 1x and applying to all wins on their respective reel. How Reel Multipliers increase from their 1x starting value is not yet confirmed, but the combination with Expanding Wilds is clear: an Expanding Wild that grows across a reel with an elevated multiplier amplifies every winning combination that runs through those converted Wild positions, with the reel's individual multiplier stacking the payout above what the standard payline win would deliver. Whether Reel Multipliers reset between spins or accumulate across the session is a key detail that will be confirmed at launch.
