Hacksaw Gaming's beloved raccoon antihero is back, and this time he's gone full Parisian heist in Le Bandit Hold & Win — a 3x3 paylines slot that keeps things compact and direct. Two Hold & Win bonus games on a three-by-three grid is a bold pitch, and we'll be honest: the Le series is at a crossroads. What started as one of the freshest slot franchises around is starting to prompt the same question we now ask of Big Bass — at what point does a beloved IP become a formula? Smokey has earned a lot of goodwill, but the Hold & Win mechanic is already our least favourite in the business, and slapping it onto a 3x3 grid with a 2,500x max win is going to need something genuinely clever in the execution to win us over. Core Gameplay

Le Bandit Hold & Win operates on a 3x3 paylines grid — as stripped back as Hacksaw gets. The base game mechanic centres on Coins and Jackpot Markers landing together. When three or more of them appear simultaneously, their values are pooled and added together to determine the final win. The Jackpot Marker is where the system diverges from a standard coin accumulator: when one is part of a qualifying combination, it triggers the Jackpot Sign to award one of four jackpot prizes — Mini, Major, Mega, or the 2,500x Max Win. The four-tier jackpot structure visible above the reels in pre-release material shows fixed values for Mini and Major, with Mega sitting at a meaningful step above, and the Max Win as the ceiling outcome. The compact 3x3 grid means every symbol position carries significant weight — there is no room for dead space on a nine-position board.

Bonus Features

Two sneaky Hold & Win bonus games are confirmed. Given that the entire identity of the slot is built around the Hold & Win format, it's reasonable to expect the bonus games to represent enhanced versions of the base mechanic — potentially with elevated coin values, improved Jackpot Marker frequency, or altered grid conditions — but full structural detail is not yet available and will be confirmed at launch.
