Citizens of Electric City, beware! The mad genius and Mr. Brain are at it again!

Of all the slots dropping in Q3 2026, Dr Zappo might have the most personality. The mad scientist and his oversized sentient brain sidekick are loose in Electric City, and Hacksaw Gaming has built a 5x4 paylines slot around EyeBall symbols that shoot across the grid converting everything in their path into Wilds and Wild Multipliers — then bounce off Energy Fields to keep going in new directions. It's chaotic by design, visually unhinged in the best possible way, and at medium volatility of 3 out of 5 with a 10,000x max win it has enough ceiling to make the EyeBall ricochets genuinely meaningful rather than decorative.

Core Gameplay

Dr Zappo runs on a 5x4 paylines grid where EyeBall symbols are the engine of everything. When an EyeBall lands it doesn't stay put — it shoots across the grid in a direction, converting every symbol it passes through into either a Wild or a Wild Multiplier. The distinction between the two conversion types isn't yet confirmed, but the implication is that higher-value symbols or specific positions yield Wild Multipliers while others become standard Wilds. The mechanic gets more interesting when existing Wilds are in the path: rather than simply passing through, the EyeBall hitting a Wild increases that Wild's multiplier value, stacking additional power onto whatever was already sitting there. The real variable is the Energy Field — when an EyeBall hits one it bounces and changes direction, continuing its transformation run across a new trajectory. A well-placed Energy Field can extend a single EyeBall's reach dramatically, sending it across portions of the grid it would never have reached on its original path and multiplying the number of conversions it generates in a single activation.

The trajectory system is the most interesting design question heading into launch — specifically how Energy Field placement is determined, whether multiple EyeBalls can be active in the same spin, and how far a single EyeBall can travel after multiple bounces in a dense grid state.
