Core Gameplay: Duels and the "DEATH" Trigger

The core of Death Becomes You is a combat-driven multiplier system that transforms the standard spin mechanic into a series of mini-battles:

• Duel Reels: When these land, they trigger a first-person duel against various enemies. The outcome of the duel determines which of two visible multipliers is applied to the spin—winning the duel naturally secures the higher value.

• Duel with Death: This is the game's primary set-piece. If you manage to spell the word D-E-A-T-H across a single row, the middle reels transform into a dedicated Duel Reel.

• The Gauntlet: Unlike standard spins, this feature uses a Life system. You start with a specific number of lives and a base multiplier. As you defeat enemies, their multipliers are added to your total. The feature only ends when all lives are lost, at which point the final accumulated multiplier is applied to the triggering win.
