Ice Mints: Base Game

The Ice Mints online slot by Pragmatic Play is played on a 5x3 grid with 20 fixed paylines. As a high volatility game, it's designed to deliver less frequent but much larger wins, making it perfect for players chasing that game-changing payout. The statistics are impressive, with a max win potential of 10,000x your bet and a strong RTP of 96.50%. Bets range from €0.20 to €240 per spin, accommodating all types of players.

The theme is a vibrant mix of fruit and ice, with symbols like strawberries, kiwis, and smoothies filling the reels. High-paying symbols can award up to 40x your stake for a five-of-a-kind combination. The golden “W” coin acts as a Wild symbol, substituting for all paying symbols to help form winning lines.

Ice Mints: Key Features

Cup Multipliers & Expanding Wilds
In the base game, special cups located below reels 2, 3, and 4 hold random multipliers up to 25x on every spin. Landing a Mint symbol in one of these cups can transform the entire reel into a wild, applying that cup's multiplier to all wins on screen for huge potential.
Free Spins with Progressive Multipliers
The bonus round, triggered by 3 or more scatters, features cups that start with no multipliers but grow progressively throughout the feature. Each Mint symbol that lands increases its cup's multiplier by +2x for the remainder of your free spins, creating an escalating and exciting payout dynamic.
Bonus Buy Option
For instant access to the game's most exciting feature, you can purchase the Free Spins round directly. This Bonus Buy costs 80x your current bet and immediately launches the bonus round with its powerful scalable multipliers.

Pros & Cons

Pros (3)

Max Win Potential

The game offers an incredible top prize of 10,000 times your stake, placing it in the upper tier of high-payout online slots. This massive potential makes every spin exciting, as a life-changing win is always possible.

Innovative Multiplier System

The Cup Multiplier mechanic is a unique and engaging feature that is active in both the base game and free spins. It creates a dynamic and unpredictable experience that sets Ice Mints apart from standard slot games.

Strong Player Statistics

With a high RTP of 96.50% and a high volatility model, this slot is statistically appealing to serious players. It promises both a fair theoretical return and the thrilling gameplay that comes with chasing substantial wins.

Cons (2)

High Volatility Can Be Risky

The game's high volatility means that wins can be infrequent, and there may be long periods without significant payouts. This model requires patience and careful bankroll management, which may not suit all players.

Base Game Is Hit-or-Miss

While the Cup Multipliers are exciting, the base game's potential is heavily reliant on them triggering. If the Mint symbols don't land frequently, the base game can feel slow between bonus rounds.
